Then, seven years later it went bankrupt and Hilfiger left retail in pursuit of designing clothing. Tommy Hilfiger, Inc. was soon founded, and the company went public a year later. Now the Hilfiger brand is one of the most recognizable labels in the world. Tommy Hilfiger Watches (THW) warrants to the original consumer that his/her watch will be free from defects in the materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. During this period, the watch will be replaced (at the sole discretion of THW) free of charge, if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use. This limited warranty does not cover batteries, straps, gold-plating, scratches or any damage arising from normal wear, accidents or misuse, or from any alteration, service or repair performed by any party other than the Tommy Hilfiger Watch Compnay or its Authorized Service Center.
